2011 Millennium Distinction Awards

This year's winners will be announced on 17 October 2011.

 

As the 2010 Millennium Technology Prize was won by Professor Michael Grätzel for his invention of dye-sensitized solar cells, this year's Millennium Distinction Awards will be presented to people and companies working in the solar energy sector.

The Millennium Distinction Awards event will be held in the City of Vaasa on 17-18 October 2011. The Vaasa region is home to several progressive energy companies and centres of international technological know-how.
